Unbelievable that it’s already March. This year feels like it’s picking up speed, and I’m just holding on, riding the wave. I’ve just come back from a week in Sodwana Bay with family—absolute magic. If you don’t know it, it’s very close the South African and Mozambique border, a place that divers love, but for me, it was all about the salty air, golden beaches, and that deep sense of peace that only comes from being somewhere so raw and untouched.
And now, just like that, I’m back in the UK, where everyone’s buzzing because spring is supposedly in the air. I say supposedly because I was out on the pier in Deal taking some photos, and let me tell you—grey skies, icy wind, and a sea that looked more brooding than welcoming. But hey, I’ll take the energy shift. That feeling of things waking up, stretching out after winter—that’s enough to feed the creative fire.
From Sun-Kissed Sands to Chilly Shores – A Tale of Two Climates

Speaking of which, the book is unfolding in ways that honestly feels meant to be. Sometimes, you wrestle with a story, push and pull to make it work. And other times? The pieces just fit. The ideas, the connections, the little moments that click into place like they were always meant to be there. That’s where I’m at. It’s that kind of serendipity that makes you believe a book has a life of its own—you’re just the one lucky enough to bring it into the world.
Until next time x

Some stories have a way of finding you—ideas clicking into place, moments aligning too perfectly to ignore. When that happens, you don’t question it. You just write and let the story reveal itself.
