I can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but here it is—the book is nearly complete, and in just a few months, Kissing The Pearl will be out in the world! March 2025. Just saying that out loud feels surreal.
This story has been with me since 2023, when Alex and Lucy first entered my head and, quite frankly, refused to leave. They’ve lived rent-free in my mind ever since—pulling me into their world, making me laugh, frustrating me to no end, and now, finally, they’re almost ready to be shared with you.
And what better way to wrap up this whirlwind of a year than celebrating Christmas with family in South Africa? This year, I’m by the Durban coast, where the sun is shining, the ocean is calling, and the monkeys… well, let’s just say they make very cheeky neighbors. They’re bold, fearless, and have zero respect for personal space—especially when food is involved.
But honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
It’s been a journey—one of those winding, unexpected, slightly chaotic ones, but the best kind. From late-night writing sessions to endless rewrites, from moments of doubt to flashes of absolute certainty—it’s all led to this. And knowing you’ve been here for the ride? That makes it even more special.
